cvi7k65uiaaawnz-1I am SCREAMING! General Mills has announced that in January 2017 (very, very soon) Girl Scout Cookie Cereal is coming. Now that I think about it, it’s peculiar that it’s taken so many years for such a marvelous collaboration to come to fruition. Cookies are sweet tiny angels that have fallen from the skies above, and based on the evidence that Cookie Crisp cereal is delicious, it is safe to say that this cookie-cereal hybrid will also be a match made in heaven.

So far, two flavors—Thin Mints and Caramel Crunch—have been announced. Personally, I’d love to see a Samoa cereal, but, hey, we can’t always get what we want, and what we’re about to get is pretty good. Apparently, these cereals are going to be made in limited editions—so here’s the salient takeaway from that message: As soon as they announce the release date, you must camp out at the supermarket and then buy the entire inventory so you have it all to yourself. Stockpile it in a giant pantry a la Extreme Couponing and then you’ll have a not-so-limited supply right there in your home. FOR YOU! I mean, who genuinely enjoys sharing their Girl Scout Cookies? Not I.

No information regarding nutritional facts has been released. Obviously, they will contain a shitload of sugar and artificial substances that can’t be pronounced. Yes, this is usually looked down upon, but we are talking about Girl Scout Cookie Cereal here. If you talk smack on this cereal, I will pour your yucky green juice all over your head.

So, refocus on what’s good, this real-life dream. The countdown to January has officially begun. What a time to be alive.
